Anna was given Gwendolen’s sewing machine. Inspired by her Grandmum’s well-loved “Bernina”, Anna began stitching her illustrations. In May 2006, ‘Gwendolen’ was born.

‘Gwendolen’ launched with beautiful card ranges and became known for Anna’s unique illustrations, combining stitched line-work with pattern and a refreshing colour palette.

In 2007, ‘Gwendolen’ began successful distribution in Australia and in 2008 we began distribution in the United States.

‘Gwendolen’ supplies over 200 UK stockists, including the V&A, Heal’s, Scribbler, The Southbank Centre, Kensington Palace and many wonderful, independent boutiques.

‘Gwendolen’ cards have become established as a high-end product with design at the heart of everything we create. As our family-run company continually grows and evolves, so too will our product ranges.
